Ayurvedic Medicine



Ayurvedic medicine is based on the concept of five elements Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth which is made all that exists in the universe. Bioenergy five elements are concentrated in the three doshas: Vata Dosha, consists of the Air and Ether, the Pitta Dosha, Fire and Water, and Kapha Dosha-Earth and Water. According to the principles of Ayurveda, each body is formed by a combination of the three doshas individual. Determine the type of Dosha patient is the most important step for effective treatment. Ayurvedic diagnostic procedures include monitoring pulse, examining the tongue, feces and urine, listening, and palpation of the patient, the eye examination, observation of general appearance and that vital astrological data. Treatment aims to reactivate the body's healing potential and restoring the balance of doshas. Therapeutic measures include dietary advice, purification and detoxification of the body (fasting, enemas, sweating, vomiting and trigger sneezing, bleeding), oil massages, steam baths, herbal medicines or minerals, exercises yoga and breathing, as well as rules of conduct.
