Lymphocytes & Monocytes


Lymphocytes

    They have an important role in immune phenomena.

    These lymphocytes recognize foreign elements will lead to a reaction in order to eliminate them.

    T-cells in response to immune stimulation leading to cell proliferation (cellular immunity). They have the ability to recognize foreign objects.
    B-cells, and the production of antibodies (humoral immunity).

Monocytes

    Monocytes play a role in immune phenomena.

    Born and monocytes in the bone marrow and then transported through the blood to the tissues where it is fixed: it is a macrophage.
