Beware of MCA


Before taking any herbal remedies should people with hepatitis C, the risks associated with them , especially since some plants can damage the liver .

Many people believe that " natural" or " botanical " to ensure the safety of the products , but this is not necessarily the case.

    Valerian (used in several remedy for insomnia )

Some products of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM ) , especially medicinal plants, have a negative effect when combined with anti-hepatitis C drugs For example, perforated St. John's wort , a plant for the treatment of depression, harmful interactions with protease inhibitors: boceprevir and telaprevir .
