Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture is a variation of traditional acupuncture, which is based on the ideas of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). According to its principles, the body passes through the vital energy Qi, following clearly defined pathways (meridians). On these meridians are many ways through which we can influence the flow of Qi. The acupuncture treatment is to insert thin needles into specific points, this stimulation may cause a blockage of Qi can increase the flow or divert excess Qi. During treatment with electroacupuncture, the effect of needles is reinforced by additional electrical stimulation. It uses an electric current very low to avoid any danger of electrocution. The advantage of this treatment compared with traditional acupuncture is that acupuncture points can be stimulated in a targeted manner over a longer period.

Electroacupuncture according to Voll / Diagnosis by Bioelectronics

Electroacupuncture according to Voll (EAV) is a method of diagnosis and therapy, which involves measuring the electrical potential between points on the skin using a special device. Functional bioelectronic diagnosis, also called functional biometrics, is a diagnostic method based on the principles of the AVE. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture points are connected to specific organs or organ systems. The creator of EAV, the German physician Reinhold Voll (1909 - 1989) found that there was a link between the electrical potential of acupuncture points and the state organs concerned. If one measures the electrical potential between points on the skin, the result allows a diagnosis on the state of the body connected to these points. The AVE can also determine which medication is best for a specific treatment.
