The classification of drugs in 3 categories

According to their action on brain function and therefore behavior, toxic agents are classified as:

- Psychedelics, hallucinogens when he is at the origin of vision: the case of cannabis, LSD, opiates such as cocaine or opium, and alcohol

- Psychoanaleptics or psychostimulants, because they excite mental activity: cocaine and crack cocaine, amphetamines, ecstasy ...

- Psychotropic drugs that have sedative effects: benzodiazepines, neuroleptics, barbiturates ...

Whatever its effects, the use of drugs chronically or in high doses can cause serious and irreversible damage to brain structures, but also on mental health, not to mention the numerous side effects they may be responsible for short or long term. It is important to know that some drugs can cause a strong physical and psychological dependence on their first outlet. So if you do not want to fall into the trap, never start.
